Literacy The Chartley Garden Club believes in childhood literacy programs. Every year we donate funds or items to the Norton Public Library. Please bring your small children to see two new additions to the Library's Children's Room Collection. Growing Vegetable Soup and How a Seed Grows These are interactive items that combine literacy with hands-on activity. 2005-2006

Food and Items for the Needy Continue to bring in food and other items for donations to the food pantry. Members discussed at the January 2006 meeting that we should make it a regular practice to bring donations to every meeting. They continue to need items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, and of course, non-perishable food items (canned or boxed).
